Bang é uma banda de hard rock e heavy rock americana da Filadélfia, Pensilvânia, ativa brevemente no início dos anos 1970 e novamente desde 2014. Considerada por muitos o Black Sabbath americano.
O grupo foi formado pelo baterista Tony Diorio, o baixista e vocalista Frank Ferrara e o guitarrista Frank Gilcken, nos anos 1970 lançaram três álbuns pela Capitol Records, obtendo um sucesso moderado com o single Questions, que alcançou a posição 90 na Billboard Hot 100. Eles foram fortemente influenciados pelo Black Sabbath e são considerados precursores do gênero doom metal.
O grupo se reuniu entre 1999 e 2004 e gravou mais dois álbuns.
Em 6 de janeiro de 2014 o Bang anunciou seu retorno. O baterista e letrista original, Tony Diorio, continua contribuindo com letras, enquanto Matt Calvarese tocou bateria ao vivo. Em 2016 o Bang fez sua primeira turnê pela Europa, incluindo o Roadburn Festival.
Em 15 de agosto de 2017, Bang lançou sua autobiografia intitulada The Bang Story: From The Basement To The Bright Lights, escrita com Lawrence Knorr. O livro foi publicado pela Sunbury Press. Em 2023, com a formação original a banda lançou o álbum Another Me.
