Bang é uma banda norte-americana de hard rock e heavy rock originária da Filadélfia, Pensilvânia, ativa brevemente no início dos anos 1970 e novamente a partir de 2014. O grupo é considerado por muitos como o "Black Sabbath americano".
A banda foi formada pelo baterista Tony Diorio, pelo baixista e vocalista Frank Ferrara e pelo guitarrista Frank Gilcken. Nos anos 1970, lançaram três álbuns pela Capitol Records, obtendo sucesso moderado com o single "Questions", que alcançou a 90ª posição na Billboard Hot 100. Fortemente influenciados pelo Black Sabbath, eles também são tidos como precursores do gênero doom metal.
O grupo se reuniu entre 1999 e 2004 e gravou mais dois álbuns.
Em 6 de janeiro de 2014, o Bang anunciou um novo retorno. O baterista e letrista original, Tony Diorio, passou a contribuir apenas com as letras, enquanto Matt Calvarese assumiu a bateria ao vivo. Em 2016, o Bang realizou sua primeira turnê pela Europa, incluindo uma apresentação no Roadburn Festival.
Em 15 de agosto de 2017, a banda lançou sua autobiografia intitulada The Bang Story: From The Basement To The Bright Lights, escrita em parceria com Lawrence Knorr e publicada pela Sunbury Press.
