Gang Of Four é uma banda inglesa de post-punk, formada em 1976 em Leeds. Os membros originais eram o vocalista Jon King, o guitarrista Andy Gill, o baixista Dave Allen e o baterista Hugo Burnham. Houve muitas formações diferentes, incluindo outros músicos notáveis, Sara Lee, Gail Ann Dorsey, Mark Heaney e David Pajo. Após um breve hiato na década de 1980, diferentes formações da banda gravaram dois álbuns de estúdio na década de 1990. Entre 2004 e 2006, a formação original se reuniu. Gill fez turnês usando o nome entre 2012 e sua morte em 2020. Em 2021, a banda anunciou que King, Burnham e Lee se reuniriam para uma turnê pelos EUA em 2022 com David Pajo na guitarra e Sara Lee retornando para banda. Eles continuaram se apresentando ao vivo, inclusive no Cruel World Festival em Pasadena, Califórnia. Eles foram os headliners do Luna Fest em Coimbra, Portugal e de uma turnê pelo Reino Unido em outubro de 2023. Em seguida, anunciaram que sua turnê "Long Goodbye" em 2025 seria sua última turnê como headliners pelos EUA e Europa. Para esta turnê, King e Burnham foram acompanhados por Ted Leo na guitarra e Gail Greenwood no baixo.
A banda toca uma mistura minimalista de punk rock, funk e dub, com ênfase lírica nos males sociais e políticos da sociedade. O Gang Of Four é amplamente considerado uma das principais bandas do movimento post-punk do final dos anos 1970 e início dos anos 1980. Seu álbum de estreia, Entertainment!, foi classificado pela Rolling Stone como o quinto melhor álbum punk de todos os tempos e em 483º lugar na lista dos 500 Maiores Álbuns de Todos os Tempos. Em 2004, o álbum foi listado pela Pitchfork Media como o 8º melhor álbum dos anos 1970 e em 2020, pela Pop Matters como "Melhor álbum post-punk de todos os tempos". Entertainment! continua sendo influente e foi votado em 49º lugar na pesquisa da Rolling Stone de 2023 dos "100 Melhores Álbuns de Estreia de Todos os Tempos". Seus primeiros álbuns dos anos 1980, Songs of the Free e Hard mostraram-nos suavizando algumas de suas qualidades mais dissonantes e se aproximando do dance-punk e da disco.
